It’s bathtime in the Without Sanity household and there is one four year old who is excited, more like hyper, about taking a bath so she can “Swim”…
I’m sitting on the toilet seat lid and waiting for her to get her hair wet so I can do some deep conditioning action (this girl gets knots like you wouldn’t believe in less than a full days time.).
She pops her head outside the shower curtain.
“Mommy, your eyes are blue like mine, right?”
I nod in agreement.
She comes back with, “I think your eyes are a beautiful blue, just like the toilet bowl cleaner.”
